Teaching assistantship scholarships

This scholarship is supported by Faculty of Science. The main goal is to support and provide master’s and doctoral students opportunities to improve their teaching and research skills, and to promote good academic atmosphere and build relationships between lecturers and students as well as between students and students.

A funding of 12,000 baht per month for a duration of no longer than 5 months per semester or up to 300 baht per hour will be granted to the successful applicants. Scholarships for talented students

This scholarship is supported by Faculty of Science. The aim is to provide financial support to first year graduate students with good academic records. A master’s student applicant must have graduated his or her bachelor degree with a GPA of at least 3.00. A doctoral student applicant must have graduated his or her bachelor degree or master degree with a GPA of at least 3.25.

A funding of 8,000 baht per month will be awarded to successful applicants for one academic year, and most of the tuition fee will be covered by the faculty and the department. Mahidol postgraduate scholarships for graduate international students

This scholarship is for international students who are pursuing master’s and doctoral degrees at Mahidol University, who have excellent academic records and are in need of financial support. This serves not only to increase the diversity and number of scholars and researchers in various disciplines, but also to build strong connection between Mahidol University and grantees’ countries or residence.

Graduate loan

The Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University, has a policy to help master’s and doctoral students, who are in need of financial aid. Grant to support graduate students in academic presentations in Thailand

This is to support current graduate students who have already passed their thesis or dissertation proposal in presenting and promoting their academic work. The applicants must be invited to present their work while they are studying or after the graduation not more than 1 year. The amount of grant awarded will depend on the type of presentation, covering registration fee, travelling fee, and accommodation fee. This grant can be applied throughout the year. Scholarship to promote master’s and doctoral students’ competency for international academic presentation

This is to support current graduate students who have already passed their thesis or dissertation proposal in presenting and promoting their work in an international academic conference. The applicants must be invited to present their work while they are studying or after the graduation not more than 1 year. The amount of grant awarded will depend on where the conference is. Research assistantships

This scholarship is for current doctoral students who have already passed their thesis proposal. The aim is to support their thesis research, and enable them to dedicate their full time and effort to research. Successful candidates will be awarded a monthly salary of 10,000 baht for up to two years. The application is open in June and November. Distinguished Thesis Awards

Faculty of Graduate Studies offers Distinguished Thesis Awards to 8 excellent Ph.D. theses and 8 excellent Master’s theses every year. 50,000 baht and a certificate will be awarded to a distinguished Ph.D. thesis, and 25,000 baht to an outstanding Ph.D. thesis. 30,000 baht and a certificate will be awarded to a distinguished master degree thesis, and 15,000 baht to an outstanding master degree thesis. Dean’s List

In recognition of academic excellence, selected students who have graduated with distinction with a GPA of 4.00 are given the award. The award recipients will receive a trophy, a certificate of honour, and have their names entered in the Dean’s List. The Dean‘s list award is also displayed on their transcript. Innovative Thesis Award

Faculty of Graduate Studies offers 6 Innovative Thesis Awards to remarkable and excellent innovations. The innovation should have a potential to be patented and licensed, must be applicable to many different sectors, and must be part of the theses nominated for the award. A trophy and a reward of up to 200,000 baht will be awarded to the students and their advisors in recognition of the their innovation excellence. The application is open from February to March.
